During the third day of the training, we were supposed to write an article of
either, gas in Mtwara or press freedom in Tanzania and put the links after uploading
in the blog.
I opted to write an article about press freedom in Tanzania.
I
searched for articles on the internet with the subject so that I could get
inputs for my article.
It was the second assignment to the training participants to
learn how to investigate news through internet.
During the second day of the training , trainees learnt how to link stories with other sources,
and were asked to write one short story, either of International friendly
football match between Zambia and Brazil, Smart Kigali or about details of
President Uhuru Kenyatta charges at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
I wrote about the President Kenyatta’s case, I published it in my blog and link
the story with BBC website. The training was good, it was more practical.
I have learn how to find
information on the internet for writing news, and how to put links of news
sources in the blog.
